The United Nations Regional Office for Central Africa (UNOCA), together with the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA), the Department of Peace Operations (DPO), and the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) co-organized a regional workshop aimed at building capacity and strengthening collaboration on climate, peace, and security (CPS) in Central Africa. The event brought together UN missions, regional organizations, civil society actors, and technical partners to co-develop integrated responses to climate-related risks to peace and security. Discussions centered on the use of data tools, the importance of inclusive approaches, and ways to foster regional cooperation and shared analysis. This practice note captures key takeaways from the workshop.
