Madrid Office

Our Madrid Office provides system-wide learning support to build the capabilities, culture and connections needed for the United Nations (UN) to transform.

Newly based in Madrid, the Hub for UN Transformation focuses on the skills required by the UN system to navigate the shifts in strategy, structure, processes, practices and behaviours that are required for the organization to adapt, thrive and deliver in a changing environment. These capabilities include foresight, innovation, behavioral science, data and digital – alongside the organizational culture needed to sustain them.  

The city of Madrid embodies the same spirit of creativity and innovation that drives the Hub's work: Spain's capital is a vibrant centre for the arts and enterprises, with wide boulevards and historic plazas connecting a dynamic ecosystem of ideas, talent and growth with a rich cultural heritage. 

The city is emerging as a hub for international cooperation, hosting a growing UN presence alongside a wide network of embassies, multilateral organizations and partner institutions. This makes Madrid a natural meeting place for UN entities and partners who are working to achieve transformation.
