What kind of leadership can build a more inclusive, caring society and foster sustainable development for all?
To explore this question the Nelson Mandela Leadership Dialogue: Young Leaders Driving Social Change, inspired by Nelson Mandela’s leadership style, and moderated by Simona Costanzo Sow from United Nations System Staff College and Penny Parenzee from University of Cape Town, took place on 18 July 2024. The dialogue sparked valuable discussions on the development and governance challenges faced by young people in the Global South.
Watch and listen to this engaging conversation on how multi-actor and intergenerational approaches can drive transformative changes, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. By focusing on increasing knowledge and capabilities, it aims to empower young leaders to contribute to the creation of a caring and inclusive society.
