Zhang Tingjun
Zhang Tingjun is the Executive Director of Mercy Relief (MR), Singapore’s leading disaster relief agency.
The youngest ED and first woman to helm MR in its 13 year history, Tingjun was formerly the Co-Founder and Director of The Chain Reaction Project (TCRP), a non-profit organization recognized by the President's Office as one of Singapore's leading social enterprises.
In addition, Tingjun serves as a Council Member in the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA), engaging policy makers, academics and government leaders in dialogue on issues related to humanitarian work, youth engagement, and cross-sector collaboration.
Tingjun is regularly invited to share her perspectives at forums and speaking opportunities such as TEDx, Women in Leadership Summit and the Responsible Business Forum.
Tingjun is the current Singapore National Cross Country Mountain Bike Champion. She is also a former National Netball player for Singapore, having represented the nation on the international stage for almost a decade.
She was trained as a broadcast journalist and news producer with Channel NewsAsia, a leading cable news network in Southeast Asia. She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology.
