Talita Pinotti
Talita de Mello Pinotti is an Associate Learning Officer at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) with over 15 years of experience in education, training and capacity development, including four years designing and facilitating learning initiatives for United Nations (UN) staff and government officials. At UNSSC, she develops and delivers online, blended and in-person programmes that strengthen competencies for sustainable development, climate action and the triple planetary crisis. Using learner-centred and interactive methodologies, she translates global frameworks — including the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement — into practical tools for implementation, fostering peer exchange and collaborative problem-solving across multicultural audiences. A core area of her expertise is youth engagement and youth-responsive learning design. She has extensive experience developing programmes for young changemakers and integrating youth perspectives into capacity development initiatives.
Prior to joining UNSSC, Talita served for nearly a decade as Associate Professor and academic programme leader in Brazil, leading curriculum development in International Relations and Sustainable Development. She also worked at the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the United Nations, supporting negotiations in the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly. Talita holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from UFRGS and is a Ph.D. candidate in Social Sciences at UNICAMP.
