Sharron Wachera
Sharron Wachera Njoroge is a part of the programme team at UNSSC, working in knowledge management, communications, as well as development and coordination of training programs. Originating from Kenya, Sharron is an innovation and strategy enthusiast with an incredible passion in digital learning and using digital platforms to leverage knowledge for young professionals, particularly with regards to providing them with the tools they need to promote sustainable development and human rights.
She comes from a background in business innovation technology management, with a bachelor’s in science degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. In 2022, she graduated from the School of Entrepreneurship, Technology, Leadership and Development from the campus. Previously, she worked with KenGen as an innovation consultant in conducting market research and providing digital monitoring and evaluation services. She also worked as a freelance researcher for three years and shortly as a communications intern at Refugee Consortium of Kenya. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, exploring diverse cultures and trends, reading, creating new recipes, and relaxing anywhere by the beach.
