Sandhya Balasubrahmanyam

Sandhya Balasubrahmanyam is a learning portfolio manager at UNSSC, leading the portfolio of learning in Climate, Environment and Economics. Her focus areas include catalysing finance for sustainable development, sustainable economic growth, circular economy, the triple planetary crisis, ecosystem restoration and other topics at the intersection of Environment and Economics. Sandhya combines the substantive experience of a decade in academia and development consulting with a decade in the corporate sector, in various roles in consumer product sales, marketing and market research with Unilever PLC. She holds a PhD in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
