Samedin Rovcanin
Samedin Rovcanin is an Associate Fellow in communications at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). He specializes in digital communication strategy, campaign management, and digital marketing analytics.
Samedin holds a Master of Science degree in International Development from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Belgrade. His professional journey includes roles at the European Commission in Brussels, the University of Edinburgh, and in the telecommunication sector.
From 2017 to 2018, Samedin served as Serbia's first UN Youth Delegate, working with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the UN on youth-related initiatives. He also held the position of President of the National Youth Council of Serbia, spearheading national initiatives focused on youth inclusion in decision-making processes.
Samedin has authored several research papers and publications in the fields of international development, sustainable development and poverty reduction, including A Hitchhiker's Guide to UN Sustainable Development Goals.
