Qiqi Mi

Qiqi Mi is an Innovation Intern at the Office of Development Effectiveness (ODE) of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). In this role, she supports the organization and coordination of IFAD’s learning events on innovation and other initiatives while contributing to the development of innovation-focused communications, including newsletters and corporate messages. 

Prior to joining IFAD, Qiqi was a Communication and Research Intern at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in China, where she helped advance social justice and decent work through multimedia storytelling and policy research on labor rights and social protection. She has also gained experience through internships at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ByteDance, where she honed her skills in social media management and campaign planning. 

Passionate about innovation and sustainable development, Qiqi is always eager to explore new ideas and embrace new challenges. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Communication from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Shanghai International Studies University, during which she also completed an exchange program at the University of Wollongong, Australia.
