Miguel Panadero
Miguel Panadero is the Senior Manager heading the UNSSC’s Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management, which provides UN staff and organisations with world-class services and learning opportunities to strengthen their professional, innovation, management and leadership capabilities.
Miguel is a Spanish national with almost 25 years of progressive experience in leadership, management and learning in the international public sector. At UNSSC he has pursued helping UN system organisations excel at driving sustainable change and promoting the values for which the UN stands, by creating innovative solutions for executive management, leadership and professional development; enabling reform through capacity building, focused interventions and tools; facilitating strategic planning and executive teams' development; fostering knowledge networks and academic partnerships; as well as leveraging technology to remove barriers for learning and collaboration across institutional boundaries. From previous assignments in other international organisations he brings experience in multilateral diplomacy, regional development, international law, crisis management, governance and democratic institutions, policy development and human resources management.
Miguel holds a Master in Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), and is alumni of doctoral studies in regional analysis at that same university, the University of Plymouth (UK) and the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium).
