Manuela Carbone
Manuela Carbone joined the UNSSC in November 2004, where she started working in the Programme Unit as Programme Assistant in the former Resident Coordinator System Support Team, the UN Coherence, Development, Gender & Human Right Team, the UN Leadership Team, the Learning Lab Team and finally in the Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management Team. Manuela has organized and supported hundreds of workshops for the UN staff at all levels, including the Secretary General’s Retreats held in Turin. As of 2019, Manuela has become the focal point for 360-degree Assessments, Personality Assessments and Executive Coaching Services at the KCLM.
Manuela is an ICF-certified Executive Coach, a Belbin ® Team Role-accredited trainer with merit and a DiSC Workplace Profile certified facilitator. She administers the Belbin Team Role tool to UN counterparts, as well as the DiSC Personality Assessments both in the KCLM Programmes and to Clients across the UN System. She is currently Studying towards a Master in Humanistic Coaching and NLP.
A graduate from the École de Traduction et d'Interprétation at Geneva University, Manuela has worked as a freelance translator in various industries, spanning from the legal to the editorial field, before joining the UN in 2004. She also worked pro-bono for the Executive Board of Turin Alzheimer’s Association from 2009 to 2017.
