Mads Svendsen
Mads Svendsen is a seasoned advisor with over 25 years of experience driving organizational transformation across international and United Nations (UN) contexts. Known for leading complex change initiatives, Mads has spearheaded global reforms, digital innovation and multi-stakeholder coordination in challenging environments.
His career spans roles such as Senior Change Management Advisor at the United Nations Development Coordination Office (UNDCO), Project Manager for the Functional Review of the International Migration Organization (IMO), and co-founder of the Management Consulting Team of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and UNLOCK at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). With a strong foundation in finance, HR, data, communications and change management, Mads seeks to bridge strategy and execution through practical frameworks, actionable insights and empathetic leadership.
Mads holds an MSc in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a master's degree in economics from Copenhagen University. He is passionate about driving positive change and improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
