Hajer Sharief

<p>As a peace activist and the co-founder of “Together We Build It” organisation, Hajer promotes the participation of women and youth in peace-building efforts in Libya. She was appointed by the UN Secretary-General to serve as a member of the Advisory Group of Experts for the Progress Study on Youth, Peace and Security mandated by UNSCR 2250. She was selected by the late Kofi Annan to be part of the Extremely Together Initiative promoting the role of young people in countering and preventing violent extremism.
