Francesco Martini Varvesi

Francesco Martini Varvesi is a Financial Analyst at IFAD, a UN organisation, and an International Financial Institution. With 10+ years of experience in international finance, accounting and internal control, he has been at the front line of many new initiatives, such as contributing to build a new architecture for the management of donors’ funding, being part of the team that has established the Controllership Function in IFAD and introduced automation in various business processes and reports.

He holds a Degree in Economics, Financial Markets and Institutions from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy and a certificate of International Public Financial Management from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) of London, UK.
