Faisal Fattal
Faisal Fattal is an intern at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC), where he contributes to the Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) and Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agendas.
His work has primarily focused on the development of learning material for WPS and YPS programmes, drafting reports, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, supporting course design, and assisting in the delivery of learning programmes for United Nations personnel.
Alongside his professional experience, Faisal is a full-time graduate student and research assistant enrolled in the Political Studies programme at the American University of Beirut (AUB). His academic and research interests lie in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and particularly in how these thematic areas intersect with the role of youth and gender.
Faisal currently holds a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration on Peace and Conflict Resolution from the American University of Science and Technology in Beirut. He continues to be committed to using education as a tool for peacebuilding.
