Emmanuel Zapata-Caldas

Mr. Emmanuel Zapata-Caldas is a geographer, who holds a master’s degree in geographic information systems and is currently a PhD candidate in environmental sciences at the Universidad del Valle, Colombia.  In Colombia, Emmanuel has been involved for a number of years in processes and activities geared towards raising capacity in people of all ages to become agents of social and personal transformation in their communities.  He is committed to the common welfare and believes that teamwork—in an environment of open and respectful consultation—is the basis for the success of any endeavour.
