Donna-Marie Fry
Donna-Marie Fry is a learning and development professional with a passion for delivering peace and violence prevention education from Dorset in South-West England. With over a decade of experience working with Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organizations and UN entities, she has engaged in a variety of consultancies frequently focused on transformational learning and training for peace and security. Her commitment extends to designing and implementing impactful training and curriculum development initiatives and resources for peacebuilding.
An avid explorer of inclusive approaches to learning, as a PhD student at the University of Bradford Donna is researching if feminist research methods and principles can contribute to addressing power imbalances and promoting local ownership in violence prevention and peacebuilding education. She firmly believes that meaningful, participatory, collaborative action with children and youth, holds the key to achieving sustainable peace and development.
