Diego Zavaleta
Diego Zavaleta is the Senior Policy Advisor at the Bureau for Latin America & the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). His primary focus is on advancing innovative tools for poverty reduction based on multidimensional and income poverty data. Prior to his current role, he was the Senior Advisor on Strategy and Partnerships at UNDP and a Research Officer with the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative at the University of Oxford. He has also worked for the World Bank and the Bolivian government. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Studies from the University of Oxford.
