Connson Chou Locke
Connson Locke is a Professor (Education) in Management at the London School of Economics (LSE) and Political Science in the UK, where she holds the position as the Deputy head (Teaching and learning) in the Department of Management.
Her areas of expertise are Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, and Negotiation and Decision Making. Connson has over 30 years’ experience as an educator, coach and consultant working in Europe, Asia Pacific, North America and Australia.
During her tenure at LSE, she has received numerous teaching awards, including the Outstanding Teaching Contribution Award in 2013 awarded by LSE's Department of Management.
Before entering academia, Connson worked for 16 years as an educator, manager and consultant in the United States and Asia Pacific. Most recently, she was Asia Pacific Regional Training and Development Manager for the Boston Consulting Group, where she oversaw the learning and development of consulting staff in 10 offices across Asia Pacific. In 2021, she released her book, Making Your Voice Heard, which uses the research on power and influence to help people speak up to those who have more power than them.
