Beatriz Gonzalez Mendoza
Beatriz is an Associate Learning Officer at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development, a position she has held since 2023. Her primary focus is on governance and partnerships. Leveraging her extensive background in capacity development and urban sustainability, Beatriz brings a wealth of experience from her collaborations with international agencies and civil society organizations.
Before joining UNSSC, Beatriz worked at UN-Habitat HQ and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) for Mexico and El Salvador. She also undertook numerous independent consultancies, primarily in the Latin America and Caribbean region. Through these experiences, Beatriz has developed a profound understanding of international cooperation and cross-cultural partnerships.
In addition to her professional experience, Beatriz is certified in the PM4R methodology by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She holds a Master's degree in Cities and Global Development from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's in Management from Escuela Bancaria y Comercial.
