Akmaral Bekbossynova

Akmaral Bekbossynova is an aspiring peacebuilder within the international peace & security, and environmental affairs industries. Past experience rooted in research and management in the equine breeding sector. She has previously worked at the UN Secretariat at the Emerging Technologies Team (OICT). Project Manager with an experience in various PM frameworks, such as PRINCE2, Waterfall, SCRUM. Akmaral is currently pursuing Masters of International Affairs(MIA) at  the School of International and Public Affairs(SIPA), Columbia University. She is studying Economic and Political Affairs, International Conflict Resolution and UN/IO.  Akmaral is the intern at the UNSSC within Peace and Security Hub, Conflict Analysis and Conflict Sensitivity Portfolios.
