UNSSC is pleased to launch a three-part online webinar series, Leveraging AI for Peace, bringing together experts from the United Nations, academia, and the technology and peacebuilding fields to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming conflict prevention.

As the UN enters a new era of AI governance—with the Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence and systemwide efforts under UN 2.0—the peace and security pillar faces both significant opportunities and urgent risks. This series will examine how AI is governed within the UN, how it is already being used to strengthen early warning and decision-making, and what ethical safeguards are needed to ensure responsible and conflict-sensitive use.
