Wevyn Muganda
Wevyn Muganda is a Gender, Youth and Peacebuilding expert from Kenya passionate about using new technologies and media to advance sustainable development. She is the Founder of Arctive Citizens, a youth-led initiative advancing political participation through Play for Peace, an experiential civic education model that uses card games, women's sports and intercultural dialogue to help young people explore leadership, elections and democratic decision-making.
She is also the Founder of Field2Donor, a project tracking and reporting software infrastructure designed to help non-profits monitor and report on their projects more effectively. Wevyn is a UNESCO Youth4Peace Leader and an Atlantic Fellow for Racial Equity. Her work on youth leadership, gender equality and peacebuilding has been recognized by institutions including the United Nations and the African Union. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Gender Studies from the University of Iceland and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Eldoret, and is an alumna of the Leadership, Organizing and Action programme at the Harvard Kennedy School.
