Sharon Kabubi
Sharon has a broad interest in International Development and Youth Leadership. She has worked alongside various socially driven initiatives in both London, UK and Uganda.
Sharon was the 2016 Runner of the WFWP Young Women’s Speech (YWSC) and in 2017 she was awarded WFWP Ambassador for Peace. Sharon has since continued with the WFWP flagship educational program where she is now the Co-Chair of the YWSC. Every year the program offers young women a platform to practise public speaking on their values and beliefs based around societal and women’s issues.
Sharon believes in the empowerment of the youth as leaders of the future - she is committed to seeing young women’s voices. She is currently on the governing board (as a Co-opt Governor) of an inner city secondary school for girls in London where she sits on the Children, Families and Community committee. Sharon has a BSc degree in Biomedical Science and currently works as a Consultant in tech.
