Sandhya Balasubrahmanyam is a Learning Portfolio Manager with the UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development. Her focus areas include catalysing finance and global partnerships for Sustainable Development, the circular economy, sustainable economic growth and the digital economy. Sandhya combines the substantive experience of a decade in academia and development consulting with a decade in the corporate sector, in various roles in consumer product sales, marketing and market research with Unilever PLC. Her experiences include working on Digital Policy Advocacy in India and developing strategic partnerships for sustainable development in the Education sector. She holds a PhD in Development Economics from SOAS, University of London and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, India.
