Niclas Svenningsen

Niclas Svenningsen is the Manager for Climate Action Outreach at UNFCCC. He is responsible for UNFCCC’s initiatives engaging directly with the real economy (private sector, civil society, cities, etc) on climate action. This includes work with a diversity of sectors, ranging from industry, energy and oceans to fashion, tourism and sports, as well as different stakeholder groups including governments, youth, universities, researchers, innovators and many more. He has been working in different positions across the UN system for 25 years, and holds degrees in civil engineering and environmental law from Sweden.
