Maria Fernanda Villari
Maria Fernanda Villari is an Associate Learning Officer at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC), responsible for designing and delivering learning initiatives in the field of data analytics and evaluation planning and management. She helps organizations identify and address their data challenges and develops tailored learning activities to strengthen capacities in data collection, analysis, visualization and storytelling. She is dedicated to promoting the effective use of data to drive informed decision-making, enhance organizational performance and strengthen evidence-based approaches.
Maria Fernanda holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Design for Learning Environments from the University of Birmingham, a Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations of Africa and Asia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Naples L’Orientale. She has worked on capacity development and research with organizations such as the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITCILO), HelpAge International, the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG), and Development Pathways.
Her work has spanned multiple countries, including Italy, Thailand, Brazil and Angola. Over the past nine years, Maria Fernanda has worked extensively on the design, implementation and facilitation of both online and in-person training programmes for UN officers, government institutions and NGOs.
