Juliana de Araujo Ribeiro
As Chief of the United Nations System Staff College’s (UNSSC) Hub for UN Transformation, Juliana leads system-wide efforts to accompany UN entities in navigating complexity, strengthening collaboration, and advancing cultural and organizational transformation across the UN system. In this role, she steers learning and change initiatives that support adaptive leadership, systems thinking and innovation in service of a more connected, future‑fit United Nations.
Juliana brings over 20 years of experience in leadership development, organizational development and learning across the United Nations and the private sector. Prior to her current role, she led the UN Secretariat’s leadership development portfolio and coordinated the UN Values and Behaviours initiative, supporting the cultivation of leadership cultures grounded in impact, inclusion and co‑creation. Her career also includes extensive experience in peacekeeping and special political missions, where she led learning and capacity development teams in Africa and Latin America.
Her work is rooted in adaptive leadership, dialogue and design‑informed approaches to change. Juliana holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford.
