Silvia Eunice Vides Canas
Master in Science (Biomedical Engineering) from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Mexico City. Electrical Engineer from Universidad Centroamericana "José Simeón Cañas" (UCA). She is currently the Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Officer of the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in El Salvador, to support the Financing the 2030 Agenda. Previously, she was Program Officer of the Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Resilience Area in UNDP El Salvador. Areas of work: Partnerships and Financing of the 2030 Agenda, Environment, Biodiversity, Rural Productive Development, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, RRD Paris Agreement, Hazardous and Ozone Depleting Substances. Previously she worked as expert in energy efficiency and industrial automation in the multinationals ABB and Siemens and as Automation professor for Engineering in Universidad Centroamericana UCA.
