Mazen AboulHosn

<p>Mr&nbsp;Mazen&nbsp;AboulHosn, is the Chief of Mission for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Kuwait.&nbsp;Mazen&nbsp;has been working with IOM for more than&nbsp;14&nbsp;years; he started his career in response to the crisis in Lebanon (2007), then moved to Haiti (Earthquake 2010), than to Chad (Libya crisis 2011), and Congo (2011) . In 2011, he moved to Turkey to respond to the&nbsp; Van earthquake ;&nbsp; with the start of the Syria Crisis, he was assigned as Senior Emergency Coordinator in Turkey to oversee the humanitarian programs and work on strategic humanitarian and&nbsp; development planning including liaison with Government, donors and UN.&nbsp;Mazen&nbsp;obtained a BA in Psychology and Master’s degree in Psychosocial Support in war torn societies from the Lebanese University. He is also a holder of BA on Tourism and Travel Management and a&nbsp;&nbsp; Master’s degree in Cultural Management from University of Perpignan in France. He speaks Arabic, French , English and&nbsp;beginner in Spanish. His technical expertise covers humanitarian response programming and coordination in natural disasters, conflicts and complex emergencies. He worked in several programs including psychosocial, education, livelihood, health, and community stabilization.&nbsp;Mazen&nbsp;has a broad knowledge on Migration Management programs including mainstream of migration in Sustainable Development Framework . He participated, as trainer on psychosocial topics,&nbsp; in several workshops as speaker in international conferences on Migration including in Turkey, Jordan, South Korea, Tunisia and Brussels.</p>
