Devina Ahluwalia
<p>Devina is a national of India and has worked within the United Nations (UN) family for over twelve years. Before joining the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in 2016, she worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Working in the field of Learning and Development, her work has ranged from external-facing capacity building initiatives to being focussed on employee development and growth. She has experience in leading large-scale change initiatives, like the global rollout of learning management systems, and initiating an evidence-based shift in the approach to workplace learning that is more aligned with modern practices and evolving trends. She is also involved in Young UN activities and gained internal support for leading her team’s participation in the network's ‘Innovation Time Pilot’.</p>
<p>Devina completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and Masters of Public Administration from the University of York, United Kingdom. She also holds a Diploma in Learning & Development from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and, in 2021, met the criteria of the CIPD Profession Map at the Chartered membership level (Chartered MCIPD).</p>
