Amidst rapid global shocks and the evolving dynamics impacting learning across the UN System, as part of UN 2.0 Week, the 2025 UN Learning Managers Forum (LMF) will focus on UN 2.0, AI and co-creating data-driven learning approaches for increased efficiency, effectiveness and the building of collective capacity for antifragility.
The UN Learning Managers Forum 2025, convened by the UNSSC, is a professional development workshop that brings together professionals responsible for learning, training, and staff development across UN agencies, funds, programs, and other international organizations.
Its aim is to foster a spirit of collaboration and partnership within the learning community while driving the learning agenda forward across the UN system.
To deliver on their mandate effectively and thrive in complex, rapidly changing environments, the UN and international organizations must equip and empower their associates and leaders with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to navigate these complexities effectively. The learning and development function plays a pivotal role in this mission, particularly as the UN system transitions toward the vision of UN 2.0, embracing innovation, digital transformation, and enhanced collaboration to address global challenges.

With the increased emphasis on efficiencies, against the backdrop of constrained financial resources within the UN System, UN LMF 2025 serves as a timely opportunity for learning managers to pause, reflect, and action plan for adapting learning delivery to the unprecedented pace of change. Recognizing the present moment as an opportunity to build collective capacity for antifragility, the LMF also ties in and contributes directly to the objective of creating a more agile, responsive, and resilient UN, as outlined in the UN 2.0 Action Plan
We're excited to be partnering with Microsoft Corporation, with a hands-on field visit to Microsoft as part of the LMF, where we will be exploring effective integrations of AI, leveraging Microsoft's Copilot, the UN’s designated official AI tool, to strengthen organizational agility and resilience from the learning perspective.
Professionals responsible for learning, training, and staff development in UN agencies, funds, and programmes, as well as other international organizations.
To ensure broad representation across agencies, funds and programmes, we may ask individual entities to limit the number of participants they nominate.
There is no cost for participation in this LMF. Prior registration is essential as spots are limited.
