The United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) is pleased to launch the UN 2.0 Fundamentals e-Learning Path, a unique educational offering available to all United Nations (UN) personnel at no cost.
As outlined in the UN Secretary General’s Our Common Agenda, in order to strengthen organizational culture and help build a UN system that can better support Member States in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, UN entities must adopt a forward-thinking culture and new cutting-edge skills.
This online learning path has been specifically designed to enable UN personnel to take that first step towards honing these essential skills and get started today on their learning towards a better tomorrow.
“The UN 2.0 Fundamentals e-Learning Path is a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity. We at the UNSSC have listened to the needs within the system regarding how to truly make UN 2.0 real, for all of us, and have worked with inspiring UN counterparts to identify developing practice, amplifying and mainstreaming the concepts of UN 2.0 and connecting these to the realities of UN personnel”. said Berin McKenzie, Head of the Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management at UNSSC:
“Our driving objective was ensuring that this Learning Path would not only cover the latest tools, real-world examples, and insights, but that it would also be made accessible and free of cost, as a UNSSC service to the system.”
The e-Learning Path comprises of five distinct modules, each covering one of the essential skills highlighted in the Quintet of Change:
The modules, available on UNSSC’s Blue Line learning platform, will be launched biweekly throughout the months of October and November 2024.
A special thank you goes to our partners for sharing their valuable insight, expertise, and experience during the module design process - helping to shape this resource to meet the unique needs of UN learners.
This e-Learning path is available for free to all UN Personnel. For more information, please visit this dedicated page.
