Ebba Dohlman

Ebba Dohlman is Senior Advisor and Head of the Policy Coherence for Development Unit in the OECD. Since 2010 she has been leading a small team to develop awareness, tools and new approaches for applying a policy coherence lens in national strategy development and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. She has worked at the OECD since 1985 in various capacities, including in the Office of the Secretary-General to help shape and take forward the OECD Strategy on Development; and as Senior Counsellor in the Heiligendamm L’Aquila Process (HAP) Support Unit where she was responsible for supporting the Development and Energy pillars of the dialogue between the G8 and G5. She previously contributed to the development of key horizontal projects at the OECD on Trade, Environment and Development, Aid for Trade and Pro-Poor Growth and Agriculture. Her Ph.D. from the London School of Economics on trade policy and the (incoherence of the) Multi-fibre Arrangement led to consultancies at the GATT (WTO), UNCTAD and the Textiles Importers Association of Sweden and resulted in a book published in 1985 by Oxford University Press.
