Berin McKenzie and Anne-Elisabeth Akrasi

<p><strong>Berin McKenzie</strong></p> <p>Berin McKenzie is a Learning Portfolio Manager at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) based in Turin, Italy, where his role includes oversight over the scaling up of the UNSSC Executive Management programme, from 40 to 400 participants per year, as well as the global roll-out and development of the new UN Innovation Toolkit. A New Zealand national, Berin brings over 15 years experience in instructional design, facilitation, and the monitoring and evaluation of learning impact, with a particular focus on countries emerging from conflict. Berin has designed and lead blended training programmes for Afghanistan, Iraq, and South Sudan, as well as for diplomats from ASEAN, examining nuclear non-proliferation, and representatives from Pacific and Indian Ocean Small Island Developing States, focused on Disaster Risk Reduction.</p> <p><strong>Anne-Elisabeth Akrasi</strong></p> <p>Anne-Elisabeth Akrasi is an Associate Fellow at the Knowledge Centre for Leadership and Management of the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). She works on the development and delivery of management learning experiences for UN system staff, including the UN Executive Management Programme.</p> <p>She is passionate about how knowledge, networks and inclusive leadership can be leveraged to further align our future with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).</p> <p>Prior to working with the UN system, Anne-Elisabeth worked in research and knowledge management roles for institutions involved in multilateral diplomacy and sustainable development processes.</p> <p>She holds a master’s degree in International Public Management from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) and a master’s degree in Environment, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Paris Institute of Political Studies.</p>
