Aron Belinky
Head of the Sustainable Production and Consumption Programme at the Center for Sustainability Studies (GVces) of Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV), Aron Belinky holds a Master in Public Administration and Government at EAESP/FGV, with degrees in Geography (FFLCH/USP) and Public Administration (EAESP/FGV). Before, as Coordinator of International Processes at Institute Vitae Civilis, he was responsible for the Brazilian section of the ‘Green Economy National Dialogues’ of the Green Economy Coalition, and other processes geared to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development in 2012, the Rio+20. He was Executive Secretary of Ecopress and GAO - Joint Group of Brazilian NGOs in ISO 26000, the international standard for Social Responsibility, in which construction and dissemination he prominently participated globally. Invited professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and other organizations, Aron is also a lecturer and have been a consultant working in Brazil and abroad, for companies and public organizations Militates in environmental causes since 1976, and acts professionally in this area since 2003, when he began his work as a consultant at Akatu Institute for Conscious Consumption, coordinating its researches up to the year 2012.
