In March and April of 2024, the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) conducted a survey on Emerging Climate, Peace and Security Trends and Associated Learning Needs. The survey involved well-established experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of climate, peace, and security.
The survey aimed to achieve two main goals. Firstly, to identify new trends in climate, peace, and security as observed by experts, practitioners, analysts, and policymakers from both the UN System and beyond. Secondly, to pinpoint emerging learning needs that UNSSC can address by offering tailored learning solutions, establishing itself as a key player in the climate, peace, and security field.
This document outlines the main findings of the survey.
