Watch Explainer Video: Understanding the Dimensions of Sustainable Development

2030 Agenda and the SDGs are not merely items on a checklist but represent a holistic approach to understanding and tackling problems by guiding us to ask the right questions at the right time. We need to consider several challenges in order to work out how they connect with and impact upon each other. But how does that work?

To better understand sustainable development and its dimensions, the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) launches its first explainer video that introduces the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  This video is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Simpleshow Foundation in October 2016, a non-profit charitable organisation established by explainer video pioneer Simpleshow. The UNSSC will introduce a series of explainer videos on various topics related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the coming months in partnership with different UN agencies.
