Natalia Kawana
Natalia Kawana is an Associate Learning Officer at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). She supports several leadership and management learning programmes aimed at executive and emerging leaders, including project management, assessments and coaching. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching, training, communications and digital adoption, having previously worked as Digital Engagement Manager at the software start-up Newired, as Project Manager for FullBrand, a spinoff from Armando Testa group, and as an English and Portuguese instrutor in different countries. She has also worked as an intern at UNESCO, in Paris, where she produced learning resources for freshwater education in the PALOP countries (Afrian Countries of Portuguese Official Language).
She holds a dual Master of Science degree in International and European Studies from Trento University (Trento, Italy) and Metropolitan University (Prague, Czech Republic), a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Malmö University (Malmö, Sweden) and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Singing from the UNESP (São Paulo, Brazil). In addition, she is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP®), LEGO Serious Play® facilitator and DiSC® assessment practicioner.
She is fluent in Portuguese, Italian, English and Danish and is currently learning French. Outside work, Natalia is an opera singer and acomplished alpinist, having climbed several summits over 6000m in the Andes range.
