Michael Steven Trevisan

Dr. Trevisan is currently the dean for the College of Education at Washington State University and professor of Educational Psychology. He has worked in the field of evaluation and policy research for nearly 35 years. Dr. Trevisan has received more than $8 million in external funding and is well published in evaluation and presents regularly at national and international meetings. He is the co-author of the book, Evaluability Assessment: Improving Quality and Use. Dr. Trevisan has provided evaluation seminars and workshops internationally, including such countries as Denmark, India, Italy, Korea, Spain, and Thailand. Dr. Trevisan is currently the chair of the International Society for Policy Research and Evaluation in School-based Counseling, an international coalition of academics, policymakers, and practitioners interested in promoting K-12 school-based counseling through policy research and program evaluation. Dr. Trevisan obtained his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Washington.
