Dr. Yene Assegid, PhD, ICF/MCC

Yene is a seasoned transformational leadership coach and systems thinking practitioner with a career spanning more than three decades. Since the mid‑1990s, she has supported civil society organizations, United Nations agencies, institutions of the European Union, and multinational companies. Her core expertise lies in designing transformational leadership development programmes that integrate tailored coaching for executives and management teams. She is known for creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences that inspire sustainable change at both individual and organizational levels. Her approach is grounded in Integral Theory, Systems Thinking, and Emotional Intelligence.

With extensive professional experience across regions and cultures, Yene brings a deep understanding of diversity, cross‑cultural interactions, and global perspectives. She works in both English and French.

Beyond her practice, Yene is an accomplished motivational speaker on leadership, an active researcher, and a dedicated writer. Her latest books, Leading With Heart and Rebellious & Resilient, were published in 2021. She holds a Doctorate in Transformation, Learning, and Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies and is recognized as a Master Certified Coach and long-standing member of the International Coaching Federation.

Yene is also the founder of EveryonesWorld, a social enterprise committed to advancing leadership development for women. She has contributed to the International Coaching Federation Foundation Board as a trustee since 2020 and served as its chairperson from 2023 to 2024.
