Dr. Beverly Hyman

Beverly Hyman has had many years of experience successfully coaching candidates for UNICEF, UNOPS, UNFPA, UNDP, OCHA, the UN Staff College and IOM for the RC Assessment Centre. She is a well-known executive coach and highly familiar with all aspects of the UN as she works for multiple agencies. Her courses in presentations, negotiation, leadership development, and communication skills foster many of the skills that the assessment seeks in the best candidates. Currently she is working with DOCO to implement the newly revamped performance management system for RCs, UNCTs and individual UNCT members, the Assessment of Results and Competencies (ARC). She served as the consultant on designing the ARC. She is intimately aware of the role of the RC and the competencies that are required in that role. She adheres strictly to the ethical code that requires non-disclosure of specific exercises at the RCAC but bases all her coaching on general knowledge of the RC competencies, best practices and knowledge of assessment centres in general.
