Dante Licona
Dante is currently the acting head of social media at WHO, where he oversees the global social media strategy for the organization – with an emphasis on making health information shareable, understandable and useful. He has been working for WHO for 4 years, and before that he worked for the Mexican government for 5 years in various capacities, including as strategic communications advisor in the National Security Council, Director of Analysis at the Presidential speech unit, and communications officer at the Mexican Mission to the United Nations in Geneva. He studied political science and International Security and is a self-described political junkie obsessed with #DigitalDiplomacy and the power of social media.
