Cristina Fedato
Cristina works for 15 years as specialist, professor and consultant in the fields of Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility, Sustainable Procurement and Sustainable Supply Chains.
She is a mechanical engineer and holds an MBA, with training on participant-centered learning from Harvard Business School.
Cristina is Pedagogical Coordinator of a graduate course on sustainability management at FIA, an internationally recognized business school in São Paulo, Brazil. She is senior consultant for GIZ in Brazil, supporting the Emerging Market Multinationals (EMM) Network for Sustainability.
Cristina is also member at the international ISO Commission PC277 – Study Commission for Sustainable Procurement, focal point from EcoVadis (Supplier Sustainability Ratings) in Brazil and senior consultant for GVces (Centre for Sustainability Studies at FGV´s Business Administration School).
She is a member of the coordination group of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of BM&FBOVESPA, the major Brazilian stock exchange.
Cristina’s background combines education, research and consulting projects. She worked with organizations like Avina, GIZ, GRI, IADB, ISTR, RedEAmerica, SEKN, WBCSD, among others. She developed and implemented projects for many national and multinational companies from a variety of industries including Agribusiness, Chemical, Construction, Cosmetics, Energy, Finance, Food, Health Services, Logistics, Metal and Mining, Textile, Waste Management.
She has written papers and other publications on social responsibility, sustainability and sustainable procurement published in Brazil, the United States, Europe, and Canada.
Cristina is a Brazilian national.
