Chris Heimman is the Founder & Managing Director of Spacecraft Ltd, a London based consultancy with the mission to help people, teams and organisations become the best communicators they can be.

Chris’s background is in theatre – he has developed and led the Improvisation programme at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London since 2005, and written and directed award-winning productions at leading British and international theatres incl. theYoung Vic in London and the Traverse in Edinburgh. Two of his productions with hiscompany The Imaginary Body won Fringe First awards at the Edinburgh Festival and hisimprovisation work recently featured in a BBC4 documentary. One of his plays, ‘100’, hasbeen selected to form part of the GCSE drama curriculum for secondary schools in the UK,alongside ‘Twelfth Night’ by William Shakespeare. Chris’s acting students have beensucceeding at the highest levels of their industry: Taron Egerton has just won a Golden Globeaward for his portrayal of Elton John in ‘Rocketman’, Cynthia Erivo has been nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her title role in the film ‘Harriet’ and Jamael Westman has receivedrave reviews for his title role in the hit musical ‘Hamilton’ in London.
Chris is a dual British-German citizen and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy(FHEA). Currently, he enjoys his doctoral research into the intersection between art, business and communication – while trying to make it through lockdown in London with his family.
