Bohyun Nam
Bohyun Nam was an innovation and outreach intern at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) at the time this blog was written, responsible for assisting with IFAD's innovation initiatives and delivering innovation products. Specifically, she has engaged in the IFAD Innovation Lab and Innovation Network, allowing her to co-author the publication of IFAD-UNSSC Mentoring Partnerships based on her learning in innovation methodologies such as design thinking and Lean Canvas, as well as the UNSSC Innovation Toolkit in the innovation team. With a deep interest in scaling up social ventures from idea to impact generation, she has also supported Innovation Challenges and conducted an inception report on Innovation Funds.
Prior to joining IFAD, she was a Fixed Income Management intern at Eastspring Investments in Seoul, leveraging her background in finance and asset allocation. Interested in innovative finance and impact investing, she explores how environmental and social factors can be integrated into financial value. Under the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) program, she will work at MYSC in South Korea as a young professional in global accelerating and social innovation consulting, aiming to understand the role of the private sector in blended finance. Bohyun holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Kyungpook National University in South Korea and a dual degree in Management from ICN Business School in France.
