Alice Bucknell

Alice Bucknell (London, United Kingdom, 1993) is a media artist and writer whose work explores the interconnection of ecology, architecture, and artificial intelligence. She designs 3D worlds with the immersive qualities of video games that hinge between the present and near future while drawing on real-life scenarios on Earth.
Bucknell has presented her videos internationally in biennales and festivals including 17. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura, Venice (2021); B3 Moving Image Biennial, Frankfurt am Main (2020); Ars Electronica, Linz (2020); and institutions including White Cube, London (2020), amongst others. Bucknell is also the organizer of New Mystics, an experimental platform merging magic and technology.
