The Staff College is delighted to launch Blue Line – A Global Learning Hub designed by the UN, for the UN.
Blue Line is a learning ecosystem designed and conceptualized with a precise ambition: to be a unique and global learning hub open to all UN staff for personalized and self-directed learning.
UN staff joining The Blue Line can:
- Select from continuously growing number of curated online modules on management, leadership and innovation.
- Access a set of free tools and open online courses designed by UNSSC for the UN system.
- Design a personal learning path tailored to their own needs, interests and ambitions.
- Take ownership of their own learning and engage with the community of fellow learners to consolidate learning and nurture organizational collective intelligence.
Blue Line is designed by the UN, for the UN. Content, design and activities are specifically tailored to the reality and challenges of UN managers.
UN staff can join the line and select the following products:
eLearn: + 40 curated online modules on management, leadership, innovation and evaluation in the UN. UN staff can start at any time, choosing the learning components that best fit their needs and complete the modules and activities at their own pace, as well as sign-up for upcoming new modules. Open UN: our continuously growing selection of free UN courses. In this section, UN staff can find online modules and courses covering a broad range of topics of interest for the UN system.
Toolbox: powered by UN staff for UN staff, this is a growing collection of tools available for free. UN staff can explore the tools, share experience and tips on application, and download the tools for personal use and reference.
