Marli Amorim

Marli Amorim joined the RCS Team in October 2005. She comes from very far away, from Brazil. Marli has one year’s work experience (from June 2004 to June 2005) as a secretary support to the Enterprise Development Department at the ITC-ILO. Before joining the UN she worked for two years as an executive secretary in a large University with currently 30,000 students in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a law graduate of one of the most reputed Universities in Brazil, however, her main field in the past 10 years has moved on to something that she considers more challenging. The command of secretarial techniques and expertise in computer programs have allowed her to make an immediate contribution. She enjoys computers but technology cannot substitute for some personal skills, that is why assistants will continue to play a key role within the organizations.
