Competency Definition: Communicates in a clear, concise and fluent manner, both orally and in
writing; ensures that the message is easily understood by the intended recipient(s); is able to communicate
appropriately in formal/informal, individual/group situation using a variety of mediums; responds appropriately
to opposition; anticipates and meets the information needs of members of the UN team,
government and the donor community.
